Overview
Vivid Impact engineered a 6-foot tall interactive pole topper display featuring a spinning prize wheel for Sazerac, enhancing customer engagement at off-premise locations. Over 900 units were produced, assembled, and distributed, designed for easy assembly, lightweight shipping, and damage prevention, successfully increasing brand interaction within budget and delivery timelines.
The Challenge
Increase customer engagement at the local level.
Over 900 units of a large, semi-permanent display featuring a functional prize spinning wheel were requested by Sazerac.
The displays needed to be easy to produce and assemble in the field, lightweight for cost-effective shipping, and designed to fit on a standard shipping pallet.
A solution was required to safely package the partially assembled display to prevent damage, considering the mechanical parts involved.
The Solution
The engineering team collaborated with internal production, purchasing, and fulfillment teams to create a pole topper display with a mechanical wheel.
A multi-material spinning prize wheel, made from sturdy yet lightweight plastic, was attached to a lightweight corrugated box.
The complex spinning wheel mechanism was assembled in the facility to ensure functionality upon arrival at stores.
A support structure was built around the spinning wheel to protect it during shipping, and the display was designed in multiple pieces to allow for compact packaging and efficient shipping on a standard pallet.
The Results
A 6-foot tall, fully functioning interactive pole topper display was designed and built, significantly increasing customer engagement with the featured brands at off-premise locations.
The team’s expertise in simplifying multi-location marketing programs enabled the production, assembly, and packaging of over 900 units within budget and delivery timelines.
